Candle Refills

Do you have a favorite candle that is all gone now, but you really love the container it was in? We can refill that container for you with our Soy Wax and the fragrance of your choice for a fraction of the cost of buying another candle just like it.

Here is what we charge:

$0.75 per ounce

(plus cleaning charge if applicable, see Container Refill Policy below)

Container Refill Policy

Containers must be clean and free from cracks, chips or other damage that would affect the integrity of the container. Containers would preferably be those previously used for containing candles. Thin glass decorative containers may not be acceptable (or safe) for use as candles. Cedar Creek Crafts reserves the right to refuse to refill any container they feel would pose a safety risk to you, the customer. Likewise, Cedar Creek Crafts acceptance of a container for refill does not imply, certify or guarantee a container's suitability for such use.

A $1.00 cleaning charge per container will be added if containers are not free of leftover wax, wick or soot.

Custom Colors

We will attempt to accommodate requests for custom colors (a color that is different than the color we typically use for a given fragrance). Please contact us if you wish to discuss a specific color need. Because of the batch size we work in, custom color requests will require a 32oz minimum order. Orders for less than 32oz will be charged for 32oz and any remaining wax will be made in to a candle (our choice of container) and returned with your order.

Suggested Cleaning Method

If there is a considerable amount of wax left in the container, place it in the microwave (if it is a plain glass container with no metallic edges or embellishments) and heat for 20 seconds at a time until wax has melted.  Use a hot pad to remove it from the microwave and pour the melted wax into an empty can, milk box or other container.  Once cooled you can dispose of it with your normal trash.  You can also use a blow dryer to accomplish this, just don't get the glass TOO hot.  With either method, if you see the wax begin to smoke.... STOP immediately and let it cool for a bit.  If it smokes, you're getting it TOO hot.

Once the wax is removed you can usually reach in to the container with a pair of pliers, grip the metal tab the wick was attached to, and with a gentle twist pull the wick tab from the bottom of the container.

With this done, wash the jar with hot soap and water or run it through a cycle in your dishwasher
